God calling Abraham to place his son, Isaac, on the altar. God calling Moses to lead the Israelites out of Egypt. God calling Gideon to only take 300 men to fight an enemy of thousands. What do all these biblical accounts have in common?

These are moments when God called His people to do something that didn't make sense to them. But to their credit, they all chose to trust and obey God anyway!

Let's face it. There are also times in our lives when the Lord calls us to act in ways that don't make sense to us. But even though we don’t always understand His plan or how He's going to work everything together for His glory and our good, we also can choose to trust Him because of His character.

Throughout His word, God describes Himself as One who is always faithful, loving, righteous, sovereign, and does what is best. He not only tells us who He is in His word, God also shows us his character every day through His transforming work in our lives and the countless blessings he gives us!

May the "I Will Trust You" sweatshirt remind you of God's promise to be your guide as you seek to do His will and trust Him rather than your understanding.

Proverbs 3:5-6 – “Trust in the LORD with all your heart; do not depend on your own understanding. Seek his will in all you do, and he will show you which path to take." (New Living Translation)
